Puri: Devotees will be deprived a darshan of the Lords for four hours on Monday, as the main temple of Lord Jagannath will remain closed for some secret rituals.
In a release here, the Shri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) said the servitors will perform Khasapada Niti, the secret rituals, from 4pm to 8pm. During the period, the main temple will remain closed.
However, during the period, devotees can have a darshan of the deities in other temples around the main temple. The darshan of the three deities in the main temple will begin after 8pm, the release said.
