Puri: Devotees will be deprived of the darshan of the deities inside the main temple of Lord Jagannath for four hours on Saturday due to the secret rituals of Lord Ram.
The Shri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) informed that the servitors, who performed the Garbhodhaka (bhog) rituals inside the main temple on the occasion of Ram Navami the morning, will perform Ramjanma Niti, the secret rituals in the afternoon.
As the secret rituals will continue for four hours, the main temple will remain closed from 4 pm to 8 pm. Devotees will be allowed darshan of the Lords after 8 pm, said a senior servitor of the temple.
