Jagatsinghpur: Police on Thursday detained an official of Jagatsinghpur college and a student for allegedly carrying guns inside the college premises.
According to police sources, the employee and the student were found roaming inside the college premises with guns on their waist.
On being informed, police reached the spot and detained them for questioning. Investigation is on to ascertain involvement of any political group in the incident.
Notably, counting of votes is scheduled to be held in the college.
