Parliament reverberated with chants of ‘Jai Sri Ram’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ as Hyderabad MP and AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi took oath on Tuesday.
The MP-elect was seen urging the BJP MPs to go ahead with what they were doing as he walked towards the designated area.
In response to the chanting, he ended his oath with, “Jai Bhim, Jai Bhim, Takbeer Allah hu Akbar, Jai Hind.”
Speaking to ANI, Owaisi said, “It is good that they remember such things when they see me, I hope they will also remember the Constitution and deaths of children in Muzaffarpur.”
