Bhubaneswar: A special train Jan Sadharan Express will soon cater to the travel needs of people of the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, with special focus on areas outlaying Cuttack.
It will be run on a trail basis from March 1 to 31.
Starting from Bhubaneswar, this train will chug through Barang and Gopalpur Balikuda and will return to Bhubaneswar via Nergundi-Gurudijhatia-Radhakishorepur-Naraj Marthapur-Barang.
This special train will benefit passengers of Athagarh, Choudwar, Naraj, Badamba, Narasinghpur and some parts of Dhenkanal, an ECoR press release said.
A MEMU Train will be provided to run this special train between the two cities.
08460 Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Jan Sadharan Special will leave Bhubaneswar at 13:30hrs and arrive at Cuttack at 14:30hrs. In the return direction, 08459 Cuttack-Bhubaneswar Jan Sadharan Special train will start from Cuttack at 14:40hrs and arrive at Bhubaneswar at 17:20hrs.
This train will halt at Vani Vihar, Mancheswar,Patia, Bhubaneswar New, Barang, Gopalpur Balikuda and Kathajodi Passenger Halt. In the return direction, the stoppages will include Kendrapara Road, Manguli Choudwar, Nergundi, Salagaon, Charbatia, Badapadagaon, Gurudijhatia,Machhapur, Radhakishorepur, Ghantikhal Nidhipur, Sarpeshwar, Naraj Marthapur, Barang, Bhubaneswar New, Patia, Mancheswar and Vani Vihar.
