Mumbai: Janhvi Kapoor turned emotional at the trailer launch event of ‘Peddi’ and expressed her deep affection for Hyderabad, calling the city her “home” and sharing how warmly she has been embraced by audiences there.
The actor also spoke about her growing connection with Telugu cinema and said she hopes to continue working more in the industry.
Greeting her fans from Hyderabad and Vizag in Telugu, Janhvi said, “I live in Bombay but my home is there, the amount of love I get there is beyond home. And I hope I continue to work there with more and more projects.”

In the film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Ram Charan will be seen portraying the character of a unique crossover athlete, which seamlessly blends the roles of a cricketer, wrestler and runner, while Janhvi will play his ladylove Achiyyamma.
Set against the backdrop of Vijayanagaram in Andhra Pradesh, the trailer presents Peddi as an exceptionally talented athlete who dominates nearly every sport he takes part in.
From cricket and wrestling to running, he becomes a source of pride for his district, relying on his sporting abilities to build a better future for himself.
But the path to success is not without challenges. The trailer suggests that Peddi must overcome several personal struggles, societal hurdles and intense conflicts as he pursues his dreams.
