Kendrapada: A jawan reportedly shot himself with his service gun at DRDO military camp at Kiarbanka under Mahakalpada area in Odisha’s Kendrapada district late on Saturday.
Sources identified the deceased jawan as Rajesh Karan (35) of Tamil Nadu. He shot himself dead at 1:55 am while on duty. The reason as to why he took the extreme step is still unclear.
The DRDO authorities are also yet to issue a statement on this matter.
