Jawan’s Body Found In A Nullah In Odisha’s Kalahandi

Bhawanipatna: The body of an Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) jawan was found in a nullah near Nandol-Kendupati road of Kalahandi district on Saturday morning.

Junagarh police identified the deceased as Biswajit Mangaraj. He had reportedly applied for leave to go home.

From preliminary investigation, police suspect that Mangaraj might have been murdered but the exact cause of the crime is yet to be ascertained. His bike was also recovered from the spot.

Police have seized the body and started investigation into the case.
