Bhubaneswar: Pranab Goyal of Roorkee Zone and Meenal Parakh of Delhi Zone have emerged topper in the JEE Advanced 2018, results of which were announced on Sunday.
From Odisha, Sarthak Behera has secured 82nd rank.
The JEE Advanced 2018 was conducted by the IIT-Kanpur was held on May 20.
Candidates will know their scores and all-India ranks on the official website of JEE advanced 2018 at www.jeeadv.ac.in
This year, 11,279 seats are on offer at 23 IITs across the country.
Out of a total of 155158 students who had appeared in the examination, 18138 students have qualified.
In Odisha, 6304 students had appeared for the examination at different centres in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela and Berhampur.
For the first time, the examination was conducted in online mode.
As per the official notification, 157496 candidates appeared for Paper I and 155091 candidates appeared for Paper II. A total of 7326 candidates were absent for Paper I and 9731 were absent for Paper II.
