JEE Main 2018 Results Declared

Bhubaneswar: Results of the first paper of the JEE Main 2018 examination, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), were declared on Monday.

A total of 11,35,084 candidates across the country had appeared in the test of which 2,31,024 have qualified.

Many students had anxiously waited for the results which were expected to be declared earlier in the day. However, the announcement was made at 6 pm.

Candidates can check their JEE Main 2018 results at www.jeemain.nic.in by clicking on the result link on the home page and entering all the required information. They can view the results by clicking on the submit button and also take a printout of their results.

While the offline examinations of JEE Main 2018 were held on April 8, the online examinations were held on April 15 and 16.

In Odisha, 44,488 candidates had taken the test at 82 centres in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur, Balasore, Berhampur and Rourkela. Among them, 36,499 had registered for offline test and 7989 for online.

However, it was not immediately known as to how many candidates from Odisha have qualified the test.

The results of the second paper of JEE Main 2018 test would be declared on May 31.

Of the successful candidates, 2,20,000 lakh candidates would be selected for JEE Advance test. The registration process for the same would start from May 2 and the examination held on May 20.
