Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Raghubar Das on Tuesday sought an impartial investigation into the case of a BTech student’s death in a private engineering college in Bhubaneswar.
The deceased, Abhishek Ravi was a native of Ranchi who got admission into the Bhubaneswar-based private engineering college on September 10.
Abhishek was found dead on the college premises allegedly under suspicious circumstances, barely three days after his admission.
In a letter to the state government, Governor Das has requested for impartial probe and appropriate action in this case.
The Governor’s letter follows Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren’s request to his Odisha counterpart Mohan Charan Majhi for a high-level inquiry and action in this case.
