Bhubaneswar: A Jharsuguda-bound Alliance Air flight from here returned to the city this morning due to bad weather in the industrial town, Airport director S C Hota said.
The flight (ATR 76) departed from Bhubaneswar at 9.14 AM, but had to take a u-turn because of the weather condition in Jharsuguda. It finally landed here at 11.12 AM.
The flight later departed for Ranchi at 1.05 PM, he said in a statement.
The movement of other flights from the city remained normal during the day, notwithstanding the overcast conditions.
