Bhubaneswar/Mumbai: Reliance Jio on Tuesday announced the launch of its True 5G service in 10 more cities, including Talcher in Odisha’s Angul district.
With this, Jio users across 13 cities in Odisha are now enjoying Jio True 5G services.
The service, which was initially available in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, Rourkela and Berhampur, was extended to Balasore, Baripada, Bhadrak, Jharsuguda, Puri and Sambalpur on January 24. The service was made available in Balangir and NALCO in Angul district on January 31.
The total count of cities across India enjoying Jio True 5G is 236 and it is the first and the only operator to launch the service in most of these places. Jio users in these cities will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer, to experience Unlimited Data at up to 1 Gbps+ speeds, at no additional cost, an official release said.
“We are proud to roll out Jio True 5G services in these 10 cities across 8 states. With this launch, Jio users across 236 cities can enjoy the transformational benefits of Jio True 5G in the new year 2023,” said a Jio spokesperson.
These newly launched True 5G cities are important tourism and commerce destinations as well as key education hubs. The consumers of these regions will not just get the best telecommunication network but will also get infinite growth opportunities in the areas of e-governance, education, automation, Artificial Intelligence, gaming, healthcare, agriculture, IT, and SMEs, the release added.
