Mumbai: JioFiber has recently launched a free basic internet plan for its new users under its #CoronaHaregaIndiaJeetega initiative.
With the new plan, the high-speed broadband service provider intends to help Indians working from home during the countrywide lockdown.
The free plan has a speed of 10 Mbps and has no FUP limit for now. Customers will have to pay a refundable deposit of Rs 1,500 and buy a WiFi router. Users will be shifted to paid plans once the coronavirus crisis is under control.
Interested customers can sign up on Jio’s website or MyJio app.
For mobile users, Jio recently introduced a ‘Work from Home’ recharge pack of Rs 251 which has 2GB data per day for 51 days.
