JMFC Court Opens In Tumudibandh Of Kandhamal District In Odisha

Phulbani: Justice Krishna Ram Mohapatra of Orissa High Court on Friday inaugurated Judicial Magistrate Fast Track Court (JMFC) in Tumudibandh block of Kandhamal district.

The court, which has been a long standing demand of the tribal people of the block, mostly belonging to Kutia Kondh tribe, will bring much relief to them, said local leader Pramod Sahu.

The JMFC court will save money and labour of the tribals who had to travel 50 km to Baliguda in connection with any legal matter. It will not only solve the legal needs of the people of Tumuidbandh but also those of the areas around it, Sahu said.

The court head one case on the day of its inauguration.
