New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) reported its first COVID-19 case after a pharmacist was found to have contracted the deadly virus.
The pharmacist is under home isolation at his residence on the university campus.
“All students and the JNU community are requested to follow the guidelines issued by the Government of India and Delhi government from time to time to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus,” a circular by the university read.
Besides, the administration has alerted all those who came in contact with the pharmacist. They have been advised to get themselves tested on developing any symptoms.
