Mayurbhanj: Odisha Vigilance on Friday apprehended Bikram Behera, a junior assistant in the Block Education Officer (BEO)’s office in Badasahi, Mayurbhanj district, for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 from a retired headmaster for releasing his salary arrears.
Vigilance officials have launched searches at his residential quarter at LIC Colony in Baripada, office at Badasahi and his native village at Chhelia.
