New Delhi: Overwhelmed by the response from various individuals and organisations across the country, JSPL Foundation, the CSR arm of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL), has launched the third edition of Rashtriya Swayamsiddh Samman-2019.
Like the previous year, the Foundation will honour 20 exemplary change makers from across India for their societal achievements.
The award, carrying an honorarium of Rs 1 lakh each will be given to 10 individuals and 10 organizations across 10 categories viz. agriculture/rural development, environment, education, innovation, technology, art and culture, entrepreneurship and livelihood, health, sports, women empowerment and public service and social service.
The call for entries is open. The foundation has invited individuals and organizations from across the country to come forward and apply for the awards. The Foundation also encourages people to nominate individuals and organizations. The application and nomination forms are available on www.jsplfoundation.co.in and are open till February 28. Selected individuals will be honoured at the award-giving ceremony in New Delhi.
OP Jindal Global University is the knowledge partner for the awards and will be responsible for earmarking the parameters and finalizing the awardees with the help of four regional juries and one national jury.
