New Delhi: Adding to its tally of CSR awards, JSPL Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd, received this year’s Grow Care India CSR award in Platinum category on December 24.
The organization was appreciated for its outstanding performance in CSR activities across the country.
Managing director of JSPL VR Sharma received the award from Member of Parliament and singer Hans Raj Hans at an event organized by Grow Care India Foundation in New Delhi.
Congratulating the team and thanking the jury members, JSPL chairperson Shallu Jindal said, “This award will definitely motivate us to reach out to more needy and underprivileged communities and contribute to improve their quality of life.”
Aligned with the United Nation’s sustainability goals, the organization has been implementing various programmes in the areas of health, education, livelihood development, infrastructure building, skill development, women empowerment and related areas across 550 villages in Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.
