JSW Bags Prestigious ICT Award At CII Meet In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Leading steel producer JSW was presented prestigious ICT Award at CII annual meeting organised in the city on Thursday.

The state-level award ceremony was hosted under Industry Carnival for Quality Circles, Industry Relations, Environment
Safety and Health (ESH) and ICT categories.

JSW bagged the award in ICT segment through digital intervention for best practices model. In a stringent selection process for the category held in 2021, leading industries in the mines and minerals segment participated.

COO of JSW Steel Ltd Ranjan Nayak congratulated the team for the achievement. “Odisha government has helped us navigate the challenges and achieve this milestone,” he said.

During the pandemic, JSW worked in its mines in the state to integrate entire despatch with IEMS, FOIS, BRP & Signet, the leading technologies mandated by the state government. The goal was to optimize cost, Quality and Productivity.

“Leading solutions for Digital Logistic Management System (DLMS) has helped us significantly reduce Turn Around Time (TAT) and enhance despatch efficiency,” said BK Das, Head, IT Division, JSW, Odisha.
