JSW Plant In Odisha: Border Demarcation Begins

Bhubaneswar: The land acquisition work in Dhinkia panchayat under Jagatsinghpur district’s Ersama tehsil for the proposed JSW project is progressing smoothly.

After IDCO started construction of a boundary wall from Mahal village border, demarcation of the local Patna Gobindpur border started on Thursday.

The demarcation work started in the presence of Ersama tehsildar Chowdhury Pranjananda Das, IDCO Assistant Executive Officers and four forest committee officials.

The Dhinkia-Patna road, which was damaged by locals opposing the project, has also been repaired. Till Wednesday, over Rs 5 crore had been disbursed to 198 beneficiaries for demolition of betel vines.
