JSW Steel Bags Multiple Awards For Environmental Management

Bhubaneswar: Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) Bhubaneswar Region felicitated JSW Steel (Mining Division) with multiple awards for excelling in environmental management.

The company bagged the first prize in environmental management and monitoring for Nuagaon Iron Ore mines, second prize in environmental management and monitoring for Jajang Iron Mines, second prize in environmental management and monitoring for Gonua Iron Mines and third in waste dump management for Narayanposhi Iron & Manganese Mines.

The awards were presented during the 24th Mines Environment & Mineral Conservation Week held in Bhubaneswar.

IBM Chief Controller of Mines, Nagpur Pankaj Kulshrestha, Controller of Mines (East Zone) and president of Eastern Zone Mining Association RL Mohanty were among dignitaries present at the event.
