Barbil: In keeping with its thrust on reducing carbon footprint, using renewable energies, and focusing on a regenerative approach to business and in support of the ‘Mission Life’ drive, initiated by the Government of India, and the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, JSW Steel organised a meet here. AT Mishra, Dy Director General of Forest, MoEF & CC, IRO, Bhubaneswar was the speaker at the event to promote the drive.
“Small changes in adapting an environmentally conscious lifestyle can minimise global warming. Under Mission Life, we need to follow seven steps— save energy, save water, say no to single-use plastic, adopt a sustainable food system, reduce waste, adopt a healthy lifestyle and reduce e-waste to minimise global warming for a better future.”
Mishra invited all the employees to practice a sustainable lifestyle and contribute to healing the earth.
