Jumbo Tramples Man To Death In Odisha’s Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A 40-year-old man was trampled to death by a wild elephant at Kaijoda village under Champua Range in Keonjhar district on Saturday night.

The deceased was identified as Srikant Naik.

According to sources, the wild elephant attacked Naik when he had gone to Andiamara Nullah. Naik died on the spot.

On being informed by villagers, Forest Department officials rushed to the spot and sent the body for postmortem.
