Junior Engineer Found Hanging In Govt Quarters In Odisha’s Boudh

Boudh: A junior engineer of Water Resources department was found hanging at his official residence in Odisha’s Boudh district here on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Pradip Kumar Ghosh (32), a resident of Baripada. He was a bachelor and staying alone at the government quarters in the Irrigation Colony.

According to sources, Ghosh went to his quarters around 2 pm after attending a feast at the office. His colleagues went to check on him when he did return to office and found the door locked. Constant knocking also elicited no response. They then broke open the door and found him hanging from the ceiling fan.

While it is being suspected that he died by suicide, the exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
