Junior National Athletics: Odisha’s Sabita Toppo & Astik Pradhan Claim Silver Medals At Kalinga Stadium

Bhubaneswar: Odisha athletes bagged a couple of silver medals in the 39th National Junior Athletics Championship at the Kalinga Stadium here on Monday evening.

Sabita Toppo finished second in the Women’s Under-20 100m Hurdles in a time of 14.17 seconds. Maharashtra’s Crystal Vadakel bagged gold in 14.10 secs, while Tamil Nadu’s Yamini Karthikeyan (14.56) was third.

Odisha’s second silver came through Astik Pradhan, who clocked 46.97 secs in Men’s U-20 400m. Delhi’s Jay Kumar (46.29) clinched gold while Kerala’s Arjun Pradeep (47.61) finished third.
