Justice Done: Fans Salute High Court Judge For Granting Allu Arjun Interim Bail

Hyderabad: Hundreds of Allu Arjun fans who had gathered outside Chikkadpally police station here on Friday following the actor’s arrest broke out in celebrations after the Telangana High Court granted interim bail to the actor.

Lauding the judge’s order, a fan wrote, “Salute to the judge.”

Another fan expressed, “Exactly, the judge was right, just because he is an actor doesn’t mean he needs to be made an example.”

One user shared, “Finally some justice done.”

Another commented, “Thanks for all the prayers and everyone who stood by us AArmy. Pushpa is back.”

“Finally truth prevails,” wrote one person.

“Thanks for the good news. Time to celebrate,” expressed another person.

Days after the death of a 35-year old woman in a stampede outside Sandhya theatres, Allu was arrested from his residence on Friday morning.

The actor, who had filed a quash petition in the High Court even before his arrest, granted him interim bail of four weeks.

Bar and Bench quoted the judge as saying, “Is he responsible for the tragedy that happened? What knowledge he have? He has taken permission. Whether a person is responsible for the incident – can he even undergo just for a day also, (just because) he is an actor? Because he is an actor, he cannot be deprived of his rights. As a citizen of this earth, he too has the right to life and liberty. We will grant interim bail for a certain period, and let them avail appropriate remedies meanwhile.”

Defending the actor, his ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ co-star Rashmika Mandanna wrote, “I can’t believe what I am seeing right now…The incident that happened was an unfortunate and deeply saddening incident. However, it is disheartening to see everything being blamed on a single individual. This situation is both unbelievable and heartbreaking.”

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan also came out in support of the ‘Pushpa’ star and stated that the woman’s death in the stampede was a tragedy and Allu Arjun can’t alone be blamed for it.

“The actor cannot take the sole responsibility of the safety protocols. You can only tell the people around you…The incident was tragic. I express my condolences but at the same time, you cannot blame only one person for this,” Varun said.
