Bhubaneswar: A Supreme Court Collegium on Saturday accepted the re-transfer request of Justice Pramath Patnaik to Orissa High Court.
Justice Patnaik is currently serving at the Jharkhand High Court.
The Collegium comprised Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi, Justices AK Sikri, SA Bobde, NV Ramana and Arun Mishra.
The plea was granted ‘in the interest of better administration of justice, to Orissa High Court’ according to a statement issued by the Collegium.
Justice Patnaik, who has been serving in the Jharkhand High Court since December 22, 2014, was appointed as Additional Judge of Orissa High Court on September 24, 2014.
