Justice S Muralidhar To Be New Chief Justice Of Orissa High Court

Cuttack: The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended Justice S Muralidhar, a Judge of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, as the Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court.

Justice Muralidhar assumed the office of Judge at the High Court of Punjab and Haryana on March 6, 2020.
Earlier, he was a Judge of the Delhi High Court in May 2006.
At present, Justice Mohammad Rafiq is the Chief Justice of Orissa High Court. He was administered the oath of office on April 27, 2020 by the Governor of Odisha Prof Ganeshi Lal, on being transferred from the Meghalaya High Court.
