Bhubaneswar: DSP K Ravi Kumar of Odisha Police won a gold medal in weight lifting in the 67th All India Police Wrestling Cluster, 2019 at Jaipur in Rajastan with record lifting.
He clinched the gold in the 89 kg weight category and lifted 142 kg in snatch, 165 kg in clean and jerk, total 307 kg. The All India Police Wrestling Cluster is being played at Jaipur under the aegis of Rajastan Police. The event commenced on February 27 and the valedictory ceremony will be held on March 3, 2019.
DSP K Ravi Kumar is presently undergoing training at Biju Patnaik State Police Academy (BPSPA) in Bhubaneswar.
