Bhubaneswar: Two days after smashing a strokeful hundred, Pratik A Das smashed another century
to guide KIIT to a massive 161-run win over Boudh in the OCA inter-district meet for Kalahandi Cup on Wednesday.Pratik’s 112-ball 149 helped KIIT post 316 for 9 in 50 overs. Boudh were dismissed for just 155 in 34.1 overs in the Gold Group fixture.
Devendra Kunwar was the day’s other centurion. Thanks to his 113 off 104 balls, Bargarh made short work of a target of 196 set by Ganjam. Bargarh won by 6 wickets with 16.2 overs to spare.
The standout bowling performance came from Harshit Rathod, who bagged 4/17 in 10 overs as Bhadrak beat Angul by 66 runs.
In other matches, Balasore walloped Koraput by 238 runs, Jagatsinghpur saw off Dhenkanal by 7 wickets and Nayagarh pipped Keonjhar by 2 wickets.
