Bhubaneswar: The state government is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation (KALIA) Scheme is implemented without any glitches and every farmer benefits from it.
In the second phase, which began on January 25, the second Draft Beneficiary List (DBL) for small and marginal farmers and first DBL for Landless Agricultural Labourers has been put up for display at different public places of gram panchayats (GP). All the changes pertaining to it can be done till February 3.
The second DBL of small and marginal farmers consists of two parts- Part A and Part B. While Part A consists of names of small and marginal farmers who had applied in the Green Forms during Phase 1, Part B consists of farmers whose details such as name, father’s Name, complete address, Aadhar No. and bank details etc. were not complete in the official records.
Applicants under Part B, i.e. whose information is incomplete, will have to submit their rectified Green Forms in green boxes at GP offices till February 3.
For any objection or self-exclusion in the second DBL, farmers can use the Red Form and drop it in the red drop box kept at the GP office till February 3.
An employee/retired employee of state/Central/ PSU is not eligible for the KALIA scheme. Income tax payers, big farmers and members of their families are also not eligible for KALIA scheme.
