Bhubaneswar: Kalinga Basketball Club emerged champions in the Bhubaneswar Junior (U-19) Basketball League winning all their five matches. They won their fifth and last match against BJEM Bulls 39-13 at Unit-1 Basketball Complex here on Wednesday.
DAV Warriors finished runners-up with 4 wins and one loss, while Yuva Fighters secured 3rd place with 3 wins and 2 defeats.
DAV Warriors beat Mother’s Public School 36-30 and Yuva Fighters defeated Mother’s Basketball Club 62-52 in the last 2 matches of the league.
Top three teams will be handed over trophies and cash prizes at a presentation ceremony on Sunday.
The tournament was organised by Bhubaneswar Basketball Association (BBA) from April 7.
