Kalyansinghpur: Residents of Kalyansinghpur in Dhenkanal district staged a blockade on National Highway-53 at Muktapasi to protest against absence of doctors in a local health centre.
“No doctors were present at the hospital to treat a person, who was injured in a road accident this morning. We demand strict action against the erring doctors,” an agitator said.
The protestors lifted the blockade after police reached the spot and assured them that they would take up the matter with the authorities concerned.
