Phulbani: A lady doctor in Kandhamal district on Tuesday alleged that a man had been sexually harassing her on the pretext that he would finally marry her. She lodged a complaint against the person in this regard.
Her complaint said that Block Programme Manager Amulya Kumar Panigarhi and she were in a relationship since the last two years. He had promised the doctor that he would marry her but started avoiding her when she insisted that they tie the knot on the pretext that she belonged to the SC category.
Panigrahi absconded on learning about the complaint.
