New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut has never been one to hold herself back on any contentious issue.
She has clearly not changed even after becoming a Lok Sabha MP for the first time, as was evident from her reaction to an undated video on Monday.
Taking to social media platform X, the recently-elected MP from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi described a video showing Muslims observing Muharram as ‘weird and scary’.
Men dressed in white are seen covered in blood in the video clip.
“This is weird and scary but to survive in a world like this should Hindu men also do some kind of compulsory combat training? Looking at the scenarios around there is no harm in keeping your blood hot… is there?” Kangana wrote.
No wonder Kangana’s comment sparked a controversy.
Many users were outraged at the way the actor-turned politician was instigating Hindus.
One of them went to the extent of asking police to arrest her.
“Hello @himachalpolice this woman here is instigating Hindus and asking them to ‘keep your blood hot’ and become violent. Arrest her asap under section 126 of BNSS for intentions to disturb peace and harmony of the society,” he wrote.
Another user posted a picture of miscreants roughing up a police vehicle in UP.
“This is also weird and scary. Every day there are such incidents in UP. Isn’t it @KanganaTeam? Or do you support such adventures?” the post read.
