Mumbai: Bollywood actress and politician Kangana Ranaut’s witty responses at the News18 Rising Bharat Summit has generated a lot of buzz.
At the summit on Friday, when the actress was asked who among Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan is a friend of hers, Kangana said she finds Salman cool.
“Aapka acha dost kaun hai? (Who is a good friend of yours?)” was the question.
Kangana quipped, “Ye mere dost kab se bann gaye (laughs) (When did these stars become my friends)?”
When the question was repeated, the actress said, “I
think Salman is quite cool.”
Kangana was next asked to choose a better actress among Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan.
She laughed and replied, “Let’s go with Ananya Panday”.
In May 2022, Kangana had made fun of Ananya, calling her a ‘Bolly-bimbo’ on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
Asked to pick the best director among Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra, the actress took a dig at all the filmmakers. “Meri jo filmmaking aur acting ke liye jo liking hai, mere standards itne low nahi jitne aapke hai. Kam se kam list toh achi banani thi (My interest in filmmaking and acting is not as low as your standards. At the very least, you should have made a better list.)”
In 2017, Kangana called KJo as the ‘flag-bearer of nepotism’ and ‘movie mafia’ on his talk show, ‘Koffee with Karan’.
On the work front, Kangana will be next seen along with R Madhavan in a yet-to-be-titled psychological thriller.
