Kangana Ranaut Reacts To Ira’s Tweet, Blames Broken Families For Depression

Mumbai: Reacting to Ira’s tweet on depression, actress Kangana Ranaut on Monday took to her social media handle to stress the importance of the traditional family system.

“At 16 I was facing physical assault, was single-handedly taking care of my sister who was burnt with acid and also facing media wrath, there can be many reasons for depression but it’s generally difficult for broken families children, the traditional family system is very important (sic),” wrote Kangana.

On Saturday, Aamir’s daughter Ira had shared a video on her Instagram handle, in which she revealed that she had been suffering from clinical depression for nearly four years.

Ira is Aamir and his first wife Reena Dutta’s daughter. After being married for 16 years, the couple parted ways amicably in 2002. At present, Aamir is married to Kiran Rao and has a son named Azad with her.
