Kangana Ranaut Rings In ‘Memorable’ 40th Birthday With PM Narendra Modi

Mumbai: Actress-politician Kangana Ranaut and her family celebrated her 40th birthday on Monday with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling it one of her most memorable celebrations.

Kangana had been trying to secure an appointment with Modi for quite some time, having expressed her wish to meet the Prime Minister on multiple occasions.

After a long wait, she finally got the opportunity on her birthday, making the moment even more special.

Sharing pictures of the special moments on social media, Kangana wrote, “Got time and guidance of Honourable Prime Minister along with family today. It has been a memorable birthday for me.”

In one of the photos she shared, the actress is seen sitting across from PM Modi and talking to him, while her nephew happily plays nearby.

In another photo, her parents are sitting with folded hands in front of the Prime Minister, who is smiling.

The actress and her family presented gifts to the Prime Minister.

As per Kangana’s social media post, she gifted him a Himachali handloom shawl and a painting of the Vishnu Dashavatara.

For her birthday, Kangana opted for a white handloom sari, made of tussar or ghicha silk with a jamdani-inspired weave.

On the political front, Kangana represents Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi constituency in the Lok Sabha after winning the 2024 general elections.

Born on March 23, 1986 in Himachal Pradesh’s Bhambla, Kangana had a successful career in Bollywood before entering politics.

She was last seen in ‘Emergency’ (2023), which she directed also.

The actress will next be seen in the upcoming film ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’, to be helmed by Manoj Tapadia. In the film, inspired by real events from the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks and the bravery of staff at Cama and Albless Hospital, Kangana will be seen playing a nurse.

The film is scheduled for a theatrical release later this year.
