Kangana Willing To Contest 2024 Elections From Himachal; Is BJP Listening?

New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut has never tried to hide her political leanings.

Now, the actress has gone one step forward and said that she is willing to fight the 2024 Lok Sabha polls from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, if the BJP gives her a ticket.

Asked if she will do public service by entering politics, the actress who has a knack to get into controversies said she is very much open to all kinds of participation.

“Jis tarah ke haalat honge, government chahegi mera participation ho, vo I will be very much open to all kinds of participation (if the situation pans out that the government wants me to participate, I’ll be open),” Kangana told Aaj Tak during the Panchayat Himachal Pradesh programme.

Being born and brought up in Himachal Pradesh, Kangana made her preference clear.

“It would be great if people in Himachal Pradesh would give me a chance to serve. So, definitely, it will be sobhagya ki baat (it would be a great privilege),” Kangana added.

Lauding the Prime Minister, Kangana said Narendra Modi is a ‘Mahapurush’.

“It is sad that PM Modi’s competitor is Rahul Gandhi and Rahul ji’s competitor is Modi ji… But Modiji knows he has no opponent, so he keeps pushing himself,” Kangana observed.
