Karan Johar’s ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ To Be Released On This Date

Mumbai: Karan Johar has announced the release date for Dharma Productions’ upcoming film ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’.

The family drama, starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, will hit the screens on June 24, 2022. The film also features Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli.

Sharing the news through a video clip on Instagram, Johar wrote: “There’s nothing like family and I always believe – we must celebrate that. The feeling, the emotion…the togetherness! #JugJuggJeeyo is a celebration of FAMILY! Coming to cinemas near you on 24th June, 2022.”

Karan also shared the first set of still photographs from the movie that look to be from a wedding sequence of Varun and Kiara’s characters.

Raj Mehta, who had helmed the 2019 hit Good Newwz, is the director of Jug Jugg Jeeyo.

Neetu, who is making a comeback to acting, recently informed via an Instagram post that she had wrapped up the shooting of Jug Jugg Jeeyo.

“Finally wrapped #jugjuggjeeyo was such a wonderful experience…made some Lovely friends.. gained confidence which was so needed at that time.. this movie will always be very special,” Neetu wrote.
