Mumbai: ‘Bigg Boss 18’ winner Karan Veer Mehra has signed his first Bollywood film.
Adding to the thrill, Karan is going to share screen space with ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ actor Harshvardhan Rane.
The film, a romantic action drama, will be helmed by Omung Kumar, who has directed acclaimed projects like ‘Mary Kom’ and ‘Sarbjit’.
The yet-to-be titled movie will also feature Sadia Khateeb and Ipsitaa in key roles.
Soon after the film’s announcement, Karan’s ladylove Chum Darang cheered for him and wrote, “#karanveermehra It was so difficult to keep it a secret this long. All the best to the team. And yeah, good things take time.”
Karan’s close friend Shilpa Shirodkar wrote, “My dearest @karanveermehra congratulations. Mein naach rahi hoon.”
Tagging the entire team of the film, the actress wrote, “sending you all so much love, can’t wait for this one.”
Backed by Zee Studios, the film is a collaborative effort involving Blue Lotus Pictures, Stark Entertainment, and Innovations India.
