Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor is all set to share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in his upcoming film ‘King’.
The actor has confirmed her special appearance in the film while expressing her excitement about working with the superstar.
Reports had earlier suggested that Kareena would reunite with Shah Rukh after 15 years for a special song titled ‘Daddy Cool’ in ‘King’.
The actress has now seemingly put the speculation to rest through a birthday wish for the superstar.
Taking to Instagram on November 2, Kareena wished Shah Rukh on his birthday and shared a visual featuring the silhouettes of the two actors dancing together.
Although their faces are not visible, the post has fuelled excitement among fans, particularly amid reports of Kareena’s appearance in the film. However, it remains unclear whether the visual is from the film’s sets.
In her caption, Kareena confirmed her association with ‘King’, writing, “Happy Birthday King The forever Ruler of the kingdom Let’s dance together…Can’t wait. 24-12-26.”
Shortly after Kareena shared the post, Shah Rukh’s wife, Gauri Khan, reacted in the comments, writing, “It’s going to be insane,” along with a fire emoji.
Karisma Kapoor also joined in, commenting, “Can’t waitttt.”
Fans were equally excited, as this would mark Kareena and Shah Rukh’s reunion on screen 15 years after Ra.One (2011).
