Kartik Aaryan Tests COVID-19 Positive A Second Time

Mumbai: With COVID-19 cases increasing in India, the number of celebrities and VIPs getting infected by coronavirus is also on the rise.

Akshay Kumar had to miss the Cannes Film Festival last month, while Priyanka Gandhi and her daughter Priyanka tested positive for the virus earlier this week.

Now, young Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan is down with COVID – for the second time since 2021.

“Sab kuch itna positive chal raha tha, Covid se raha nahi gaya (Everything was going so positively, COVID couldn’t accept it),” Aaryan wrote on Instagram alongside a picture with folded hands.

As his fans wished him speedy recovery, one user had a funny take: “Omg take care Superstar! Covid bhi aapka fan ho gaya (even COVID is your fan now).”

Aaryan-starrer ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ has been doing extremely well in the box office, as it’s set to enter the Rs 150-crore club.

On the success of Anees Bazmee-directed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, also starring Kiara Advani and Tabu, Aaryan said he was pleasantly surprised.

“During a time like this, having delivered a 100 crore collection within the first 9 days of release alone is the most surreal feeling as an actor. I knew the film would do well, but couldn’t have imagined it like this,” Aaryan remarked.
