Mumbai: After Ranveer Singh and Tiger Shroff, it’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ star Kartik Aaryan whose name is doing the rounds for the role of ‘Shaktimaan.’
According to Hindustan Times, Kartik has been approached to play the superhero in Mukesh Khanna’s ‘Shaktimaan’ movie, and the actor is reportedly considering the offer.
The news didn’t go down well with a section of netizens who are worried that it won’t be good for Kartik.
“This would be career suicide for Kartik Aryan,” one Reddit user wrote.
“Not sure how true this news is but if you are a successful actor, you should steer clear of this disaster…” said another person.
Some others were of the opinion that Kartik will be the right choice for the superhero’s role.
One user wrote, “Yes I totally see him playing this role. He has the youthful look and charm that you need for a young superhero.”
Another posted, “Kartik actually fits the role more than Ranveer.”
Earlier, speculation was rife that Ranveer wanted to essay the superhero’s character and had also approached Mukesh, the original ‘Shaktimaan’.
However, Mukesh declined the proposal as he was unhappy with Ranveer’s nude photoshoot.
Tiger’s name was also suggested for the role. But veteran actor Mukesh felt that the actor was a child and cannot do justice to the superhero’s character.
Kartik is currently basking in the success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.’
