Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Rumoured Girlfriend’ Karina Updates Insta Bio, Gains 6K Followers Overnight

Mumbai: Amid link up rumours and online harassment, Kartik Aaryan’s rumoured girlfriend Karina Kubiliute updated her Insta bio, stating that she doesn’t know the actor.

“I don’t know Kartik!” wrote Karina in her bio, with an aim to shut down the online chatter.

Despite the digital clarification, Karina saw a surge in her social media followers overnight.

As per reports, her Instagram following, which stood at 1962 followers before the link up rumours started, increased to 8173 following the online chatter.

In another attempt to dismiss dating speculation amid the crazy surge in followers, Karina, in response to one of the comments on her social media posts wrote, “I’m not his gffff!!!”.

However, the buzz doesn’t end here. On scanning mystery girl Karina’s social media posts, netizens found that she graduated high school in 2024 and is apparently just 18 years old.

The wide age gap between Karina and Kartik further triggered a backlash.

Amid the ongoing buzz, a fan page with the name queen._ujji and california.gal stepped forward to defend the actor with a thoughtful post.

Meanwhile, even as Kartik preferred to be tight-lipped over the dating speculation, he did unfollow Karina on Insta soon after the online buzz.

For the unversed, Kartik and his alleged link-up rumours with Karina started doing the rounds after a section of Reddit users claimed that their holiday pictures were strikingly similar.

Netizens compared Kartik’s beachside photos with those posted by Karina and pointed out that the identical beach loungers, matching towel patterns and even a volleyball court in the background were similar.

Soon, screenshots of the pictures flooded Reddit threads, with users suggesting that the two were dating and holidaying together.

On the work front, Kartik’s recent release ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’ alongside Ananya Pandey received lukewarm response amid the craze for Ranveer Singh’s spy-thriller ‘Dhurandhar’.
