Mumbai: Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have already resumed work post their grand marriage in Rajasthan earlier this month. Now, the new bride has announced her next project.
Katrina took to social media to inform fans and followers that she felt ‘honoured’ to be part of Sriram Raghavan-directed ‘Merry Christmas’. She was also ‘super excited’ to be teaming up with Vijay Sethupathi, superstar of the South.
Sharing a picture with Sethupathi, Sriram Raghavan and Ramesh Taurani and Vijay Sethupathi, Katrina wrote: “Back on set with director Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas! I’ve always wanted to work with Sriram Sir, he is a master when it comes to narratives that showcase thrillers and it’s an honour to be directed by him. Super excited to be teaming up with Vijay Sethupathi for this one produced by @rameshtaurani.”
Taurani also shared the picture and wrote: “Winter Chills + Festive Thrill = #MerryChristmas 2022 winter promises a thrilling experience with Director #SriramRaghavan’s next. For the very first time, @katrinakaif and @actorvijaysethupathi will come together in this film produced by @sanjayroutraymatchbox and me.”
The film, whose mahurat shot took place on December 22, will be released in December 2022, according to Taurani.
Katrina’s ongoing projects include Tiger 3 with Salman Khan, which is expected to hit theatres next year.
