Keonjhar: A court in Keonjhar sentenced a rape accused to 20 years in jail and imposed a fine of Rs 5,000.
On January 10, a 6-year-old girl was raped by a distant relative. She had to be admitted to the ICU of SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for more than a week. She survived a critical operation and the second operation is due next month, sources said.
The investigation was completed in 16 days. Trial took 68 days, the sources added.
