Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw a test positivity rate (TPR) of 8.75 per cent on Thursday with 6097 of the 69638 samples testing positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
It is for the third day in a row that the TPR has remained below 9 per cent – 8.75 per cent on Wednesday and 8.55 per cent on Tuesday.
According to the I & PR department, 3446 are from quarantine and 2651 local contacts.
The highest of 1017 fresh infection have been reported from Khurda, followed by Cuttack (647) and Jajpur (434).
