Bhubaneswar: With the introduction of daily Sewa Express train between Bhubaneswar and Nayagarh town from October 15, the East Coast Railway has decided to revise the timing of the passenger train between Khurda Road and Nayagarh town for operational feasibility.
Khurda Road-Nayagarh Town Passenger will leave Khurda Road at 8.20 am instead of 7.15 am and reach Nayagarh Town at 9.45 am, 90 minutes later than its usual timing.
In the return direction, the train will leave at Nayagarh Town at 10.00 am instead of 9.20 am and reach Khurda Road at 11.45 am instead of its earlier timing of 11.05 am.
Similarly, Khurda Road-Nayagarh Town Passenger will leave Khurda Road at 8.15 pm instead of earlier timings of 7.30 pm and will reach at Nayagarh Town at 9.40 pm instead of 9.10 pm.
In the return direction, the timings of Nayagarh Town-Khurda Road passenger will remain unchanged. This train will leave Nayagarh Town at 5.00 am and will reach Khurda Road at 6.45 am.
The new express train will chug out of Bhbuaneswar on October 15 at 6.40 pm and reach at Nayagarh Town at 8.45 pm. In the return direction, this train will leave Nayagarh Town at 6.30 am and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 9.00 am.
Union Minister of Railways and Minister of Commerce and Industries Piyush Goyal will flag off the train through video conferencing from New Delhi on October 15.
Goyal will also inaugurate nine Sewa Express Trains in different parts of the country on the same day.
